Iconography has a special role in human machine interfaces. Where words won’t suffice, we use symbols to convey system status, required action, and identify equipment. During my time at Rockwell Automation, I owned and managed an icon library of over 500+ icons. We received patents and recognition for these icons as they pertained to licensed equipment.

Illustration update resulted in a 50% increased click thru rate on marketing offers
Iconography & in-house icon font creation allowed RA to save thousands per year on icon font licensing, while providing niche, industry-specific icons quickly and continuously.
