  • Experian Consumer Services 

    Product Design Manager / June 2025 - Present 

    • Manages and mentors a team of designers driving platform architecture and design for  Experian’s consumer-facing app. 

    • Serves as design lead for the Experience Orchestration domain which includes design  systems, server-driven UI (SDUI), navigation, and information architecture.

    •  Owns quarterly revenue and engagement outcomes for the Experian app, aligning design  strategy with business objectives. 

    • Shapes and executes multi-year vision strategy for the app, guiding long-term product  and design direction. 

    • Elevates team practices by improving workflows, Figma standards, design storytelling,  and visual design expertise. 

  • Product Design Lead, Platform / January 2022 - June 2025 

    • Led design and product strategy for Experian’s app and website (22M+ users), delivering  $200M revenue growth in one quarter through messaging center optimizations.

    • Directed the Experience Architecture domain (IA, design systems, global features,  notifications, support) while managing and mentoring senior designers on complex,  cross-functional initiatives. 

    • Drove human-centered practices, partnering with research and engineering to integrate insights & accessibility standards, streamline handoffs, and improve product strategy and  experience. 

  • Manager, UX (June 2021 - Jan. 2022)

    • Managed and led the direction of a team of 5 designers, focusing on various product offerings within HR, fintech, and healthcare

    • Assessed employee and team performance against established quality metrics and job descriptions

    • Defined strategy and direction for a multifaceted SaaS, B2B product platform with over 15,000 active customer bases worldwide

    • Provided company-wide training on Jobs to Be Done as a tool for product teams, and various other design thinking training

  • Senior UX Designer (March 2020 - June 2021)

    • Using Figma, created high and low fidelity mock ups, clickable prototypes, and user flows with cross-functional product teams

    • Collaborated with product management to define user needs, product goals, and strategy while defining a vision and strategy to work toward

    • Coached and provided feedback to multiple UX designers to maintain quality and consistency

    • Provided UX guidance to product teams in healthcare, accounts payable, HR, finance, and more

    UX Designer (Nov. 2018 - March 2020)

    • Managed the design direction for 5+ products at a time across multiple industries

    • Collaborated with development teams in various stages of transitioning to a new design system

    • Performed large research studies with 20+ member healthcare advisory board

  • User Interface Designer (May 2016 - Nov. 2018)

    • Visual design lead on a material design based design system developed from scratch

    • Developed and maintained design system using Visual Studio Code on a sprint-by-sprint basis

    • Collaborated with product management and engineering leads to establish a vision for the company’s first integrated

      development environment based in angular

    • Created a 500+ icon library for all Rockwell Automation product offerings to ensure consistency across the brand

Hi, I’m Laura. I'm a product designer and strategist.

Over the past 10 years, I've designed experiences for 88 million users, led talented teams, and helped drive meaningful business impact. I've worked across healthcare, fintech, and enterprise platforms, direct to consumer and B2B, but what excites me most is solving complex problems in ways that feel simple and human.

I believe great design happens when you combine strategic thinking with genuine curiosity about people.

Based in Cleveland, Ohio, I'm equal parts strategist and maker. I’m constantly baking, and my 3 cats are always judging my layer naming.
